On Monday, October 26th two people were killed in a tragic crash at the wide and busy intersection of University Place, Allequippa St and Centre Ave - the border of the North Oakland and Middle Hill neighborhoods.
With three deaths on Oakland streets within four days, we are deeply saddened to lose more innocent lives to largely preventable crashes. Let us join together to honor the lives of the victims and advocate for safer streets for all who use them.
