Ujamaa Collective Presents
Indaba Community Workshop Series

Learning Land Trusts & Land Banks
with Bethany Davis
$10.00 Workshop

This workshop explores a number of state laws and local programs while spending the majority of our time together diving into Land Banking and Community Land Trusts - understanding what each is, their differences, and how they can work together to help a community eliminate blight and realize vacant spaces for their opportunities, not merely their liabilities.

Indabas are traditionally councils or meetings of indigenous peoples of southern Africa to discuss an important matter. Today, across the world, Africana teachers, artists of all genres, grassroots leaders and youth have indabas to bring innovative ideas and knowledge that increase our lives and communities. Please join with Ujamaa members and friends in an intimate learning environment for our workshops that will help enhance and cultivate creativity, wellness, and culture!
