A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, Paul focuses his practice on all types of intellectual property matters, including patents, trademarks, and copyrights. He has represented clients in a variety of industries including network security, cloud-based computing, financial technology ("fintech"), industrial scale manufacturing, entertainment and media, consumer goods, and more.

As a licensed patent attorney with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), Paul regularly prepares and prosecutes patent and trademark applications both in the U.S. and internationally in jurisdictions such as China, Japan, Europe, and Canada. He assists his clients in product and brand development by providing strategic advice for filing patent and trademark applications in both domestic and foreign jurisdictions.

His litigation practice is equally matched, as Paul has represented clients in patent infringement matters in several jurisdictions and proceedings in the International Trade Commission. He works closely with clients and technical experts on cases, including infringement actions, patent invalidity, and claim construction issues.
