His memoir, The Other Wes Moore, is about a kid with the same name, who grew up in the same neighborhood, but who ended up in prison for felony murder. A revised version of the memoir with a new title, Discovering Wes Moore, speaks directly to youth about the differences in their lives that made all the difference in determining their futures--like staying in school.
Wes writes, "The chilling truth is that his story could have been mine. The tragedy is that my story could have been his."
Don't miss the opportunity to hear Wes' inspirational story and please encourage youth that you know to attend the program!
