The August Wilson Center Dance Ensemble will once again take the stage with a number of dynamic artists, rooted in the tradition of inspired movement, for the Second Annual Black Dance Festival. The festival will also include emerging companies that are keeping black dance traditions alive not only in their communities, but worldwide. The festival will spread its wings even further by adding master classes and workshops, taught by today's leading forces in dance. Be mesmerized and revived as these dynamic artists celebrate the past, present, and future of black dance.
