Diane Day brings over two decades of versatile experience and exemplary leadership to her role as the Director of Programs, Policy, and Special Initiatives at the Hill Community Development Corporation. In this capacity, she oversees the Development Review Panel, spearheads community engagement programming, and fosters initiatives for small business development. Diane’s collaborative approach extends to forging partnerships with lawmakers and community agencies, ensuring alignment between local policies and the community’s overarching master plan.
Prior to her current position, Diane demonstrated her exceptional project management skills as a plasma center manager, where she successfully oversaw renovations and launched two centers. Additionally, she founded and operated Virtual Staffing Source, providing strategic consulting services to entrepreneurs and corporations seeking start-up and outsourced support for over a decade. With a master’s degree in organizational development leadership studies and a bachelor’s degree in human resources from Geneva College, Diane continues to drive positive change in Pittsburgh, where she resides with her family, including her grandson.
