Raymond comes to the Real Estate Coordinator position with 10 years of experience in architecture. After graduating from Carnegie Mellon University with his Bachelor's degree in 2009 he worked in the field for several firms in the Pittsburgh region. His experience in the field includes a variety of project types, primarily focused in retail and spanning single- and multi-family housing and some community design as well. He has been licensed to practice architecture in the state of Pennsylvania since 2018.
In addition to his professional architecture experience, Raymond has been a volunteer for several advocacy and educational programs run by nonprofits in the area. He has served for the American Institute of Architects by holding leadership positions at the local, regional, and national levels, with specific interest in creating programming that provides guidance and mentorship for the next generation of architects and designers. He has also participated in several educational outreach programs for children from elementary through high school age. He is excited to be able to bring both his professional and volunteer experience to bear in his work for the Hill CDC.
