Nereida Polanco has 15+ years of experience in financial management and operations working with Government Organizations as well as Higher Education Institutions for both private and public sectors, managing over 500M in funding.
She has a strong knowledge and background in people management, strategic thinking, grant reporting, revenue forecasting, finance and HR principles. Her operational knowledge has made her a successful project manager in both technology implementations as well as construction development projects.
Nereida has helped organizations gain final accreditation status, negotiated union contracts, increased revenue, managed grants, championed legislation and increased performance while lowering operational cost.
Nereida holds a B.S. from Nova Southeastern University with a concentration in Financial Management and Operations and minored in Psychology . In her spare time, Nereida is passionate about education access and advocates for other Latinos in the community by supporting ESL student programs and volunteering as an IEP parent advocate.
