- Developer presented the Development Review Panel
- The Citizen Science Lab (TCSL) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that has become a city leader in providing interactive STEM programming for the residents of Pittsburgh.
- TCSL incorporates 5 state-of-the-art instructional laboratories that provide hands-on exposure to life science, biomedical, robotics, and biotechnology education for students, teachers, biomedical startups, and adult citizens of the Pittsburgh region. The programming has a focus on increasing black students' interest in STEM but is available to all of the citizens of Pittsburgh.
- Developer works with Pittsburgh Public Schools to recruit children to the program.
- Working with MBE & WBE contractors on the project to fulfill MWBE requirements.
- The Citizen Science Lab building will also be allowed for other events to be held
- Currently planning Community Meeting to engage residents in the area to collect feedback/suggestions.
- The Development Project received a score of 90% - A from the DRP
- The DRP has invited the development team to formally present to broader community during the Q3 Community Meeting
