PCKIZ orchestrates a combination of tax incentives, entrepreneurial resources, educational and internship programs, networking events, and technology showcases. The Ujamaa Collective is a non-profit organization of women of African descent who are entrepreneurs, artisans, artists and individuals who are committed to serving their community through leadership. Through Ujamaa, artisans will have an economic outlet for their work, micro-enterprises will have the support to grow, customers will gain access to locally-produced items, and Pittsburgh will have a regional destination to draw customers and visitors to the Historic Hill District.

A-STEP's goal is to strengthen the educational foundation of our participants in all areas, particularly literacy, which includes reading, writing, speaking and listening, mathematics, and behavioral management.
The After School Tutorial And Enrichment Program (A-STEP) is open M-F and serves PreK-5 students. The program focuses on building an educational foundation, developing skills in science, computers, mathematics, literacy, health and wellness and behavioral management.
Children/Adult Recreational and Educational Services (CARES) program is open M-TH, serving student in grades 6-12. CARES at JXGCC, will actively support their efforts to become confident, caring, and competent adults. This facility offers career development and employment, academic counseling/STEAM competencies, NovaNet Credit Recovery, and counseling services, while promoting positive peer-to-peer interactions through cultural and educational experiences.
Children/Adult Recreational and Educational Services (CARES) program is open M-TH, serving PreK-5 students. CARES focuses on developing leaders through strengthening academic success, promoting healthy choices and recreation, computer competencies, and offering cultural and educational experiences.
An afterschool program for K-5 students open M-TH and provides homework assistance, physical education and other enrichment activities.
The Weil Afterschool Program provides reading and math skill development to basic/below basic learners as indicated by PSSA examinations. The program is open M-TH, serving K-5 students.
The licensed afterschool program for PreK-8 students is open M-F and focuses on health, character development, arts and creative expression, social growth, homework support and overall academic enhancement.
The ZONE is an afterschool program open M-TH for middle school-age students that includes academic support, enrichment and a focus on STEM competencies.

We are committed to eliminating the barriers to accessing the resources necessary for sustainable longevity, first to those of us who are most marginalized and are working from a permaculture base.. We are a neighborhood-centric project that focuses on education and mutual aid.
Signature programs include: financial literacy, entrepreneurship, work readiness, communication and life repair.
