Hill CDC visits the White House

Valerie Jarrett closes session on "fiscal cliff".

Hill CDC Executive Director, Marimba Milliones, recently visited the White House with other business and community leaders to discuss the "fiscal cliff". The session was led by Patrick Hidalgo, Deputy Director of the White House Business Council. Other participants included Ben Page, Advisor to the Director for the Office of Management and Budget at the White House. Greg Nelson, Chief of Staff to the National Economic Council of the the White House, updated the group on Economic Competitiveness and Tax Cuts. Other senior staff included Sol Ross of the Department of Health and Human Services and Tyler T. Moral, the Deputy Policy Director on Immigration for the White House Domestic Policy Council.

The session was closed with comments from Valerie Jarrett, Senior Advisor and Assistant to President Obama.

The Hill CDC wants your feedback on matters related to the fiscal cliff and other federal issues that impact our communities! Of critical importance to developing our communities are Low Income Housing Tax Credits and New Markets Tax Credits; the Hill CDC is advocating for the continuation of those funding tools at the appropriate levels.
