Shona Sharif African Dance and Drum Ensemble under the direction of Oronde Sharif and Hill Dance Academy Theatre (HDAT) under the direction of Ayisha Morgan-Lee, are the co-producers of the 2017 production of Langston Hughes’ Black Nativity.   This is Pittsburgh’s 24th season of retelling the Christmas Story through music, song and dance with a cast of more than 60 Pittsburgh performers, ages seven to wisdom adults under the direction of Debbie Blunden-Diggs, Artistic Director of Dayton Contemporary Dance Company.

This annual Holiday tradition takes place at the University of Pittsburgh’s Alumni Hall, December 15-17 & December 21-23.

There will be a matinee performances, on Monday, December 18th for Pittsburgh schools, from 10-12 noon at Alumni Hall.
