Community development connects people to basic needs, education, jobs, commerce, art, culture and health & wellness; and it promotes a quality of life that strengthens neighborhoods and empowers residents. The Hill CDC is committed to connecting the Hill District community and its residents to the greatest opportunities it can create, find or foster.
These principles guide the Hill CDC's work as it facilitates and implements real estate development and urban design proposals within the Greater Hill District. The Hill CDC fundamentally believes that development should be sustainable, equitable and beneficial to the community, city and the developer. We will work diligently with the community, stakeholders and developers to refine plans for the best end result. It is with this collaborative approach that the Hill CDC believes it can realize its mission of fully revitalizing the Hill District of Pittsburgh PA.
